Flowers

Beautiful flowers grow year-round because it doesn't get that cold here on the north island.  On the south island it seems, from the weather reports, that it has a climate more like the US midwest with a cold snowy winter.  I am glad I am living in the top half of the north island :-)

Here are some flowers I saw along one of my many walks about town.

Recyclable Office

Back in April, my co-workers built me an office.  They did it over the weekend.  It was quite a surprise when I arrived at work Monday.

They even gave me a window.

We left it up for a few days until it started to sag.  Of course we recycled it.
